FINALLY!
It's done! The first year I wanted to do it, the event conflicted with my college graduation. "Call it a graduation present," I told my mom. "We'll make a donation, I want a picture of you in that cap and gown," my mom said. Then, last year I was broke and starving in Spain. Now, finally, on my 3rd year of resolving to do the San Francisco to LA AIDS Lifecycle the stars have finally aligned and I'll be free the first week of June to pedal 545 miles over 7 days. Tonight I made the symbolic gesture of coughing up $75 bucks for the entry fee. All that's left? Raising $2,500, and then a little victory lap from San Francisco to LA. More will surely come as I will undoubtedly be begging for money from all of you for the next seven months, but from now until my fund raising information comes there's nothing I can do but get excited!
