The results from last week's poll are in. The result: my readers are slobs! When faced with a long ride and no clean bike shorts, 5 out of 8 readers deemed the "sniff test" sufficient. Well, your nose will not protect you from saddle sores, my friends! 25% of readers are lazy mofos who would just go back to bed and think about maybe doing the ride next week, if they felt like it. And only one person actually had the gumption to wash 'em in the sink and go out with a moist groin. Soggy Crotch, my hat goes off to you, whoever you are. No one had the balls to do the ride in running shorts (I've done that before, after a couple of hours you really don't notice the difference; actually, you can't feel much at all), and no one had the good sense to put the shorts in the wash. I can't remember what I voted for, but it probably had to do with doing like the doggies do and sniffing some crotch.This week's poll is about you, dear readers:

WOW!! I can't believe I got nominated!! YOU MADE MY DAY :-)
And all because of a name someone else (fellow blogger Spence http://twothirdstheventure.blogspot.com/) gave me on a training ride in '06 and a funny hamster...which was inspiration after a spin class. This was a spin class where you put your bike on a Computrainer and during the class we were doing 'spin ups' where you spin as fast as you humanly can. It was then I discovered that with my bike on a trainer I can spin up to 160rpm (for a microsecond)...I kicked everyone else's butt at the actual spinning and considering I usually get my butt kicked at most things triathlon...I had to be excited.
But I guess I can't really vote for 'Rocketpants'...that'd be like voting 'D' huh.:-)
Claire, I'm so flattered you nominated me! You made my morning and helped snap me out of being a Mr. Surly-Pants this morning...(I think someone got out of the wrong side of bed...) If at least one or two people enjoy the blog, that is good enough for me!

Too funny, thanks for the nomination and I would have to vote for Leana- 3 ten-milers 19 hours! Hope she got paid big bucks for that! I also need to vote for Rocekpants- that little hamster has my vote all the way! AND I need to cast a vote for you- I have too much fun reading this blog... I need a dose of your humor in this life! Okay, give me all 3 votes please!
I'm going to have to go with Rocketpants (160rpm!!). I actually own 2 hamsters and neither of them can bench much...I don't think I've even seen them do so much as a squat.
